My name is Martin McGhee, I am a digital sculptor.

I have been a professional 3d generalist  for over 8 years with a resulting broad experience of many aspects of 3d production: modelling, UV layout, rigging, animation and rendering.

Recently however I have undertaken directed Zbrush sculpting classes lead by industry veteran Ryan Kingslien. Through Ryan's fantastic teaching method, and a large number of direct 1 to 1 mentoring sessions, I am now producing good quality work.  So much so that Ryan featured my work as example of how anatomical knowledge improves sculpting practice- during a lecture given for IMAGEMETRICS, my examples are near the end (1:14:00)

So now I am changing tack somewhat in my career and i'm dedicating myself to sculpting- The scales have fallen from my eyes, a fire has been lit in my belly and nothing will  be the same again.

If an industry veteran and master craftsman like Ryan has faith in my abilities- then who am i to question that? I am now dedicated to putting my heart and soul into it, starting now and never stopping.

I am available for Freelance work or full-time sculpting and modelling positions, I wish for nothing more than to learn as much as i can about digital sculpting and to keep improving.
